CAC Hiking (all ages)

Anza Borrego

Join us on our annual trek to the Anza Borrego Desert where we hike the Borrego Palm Canyon trail.

The hike is a 3-mile loop and considered easy to moderate. This will be an all-day excursion and includes a visit to the metal sculptures, a sack picnic lunch in the park and of course a side trip to see the wildflowers in bloom! (Please don’t forget to bring plenty of water and sunscreen.)

• We’ll carpool from Ramona at 9:00 am from the Star Gas Station at 1910 Main St. 
• Or if you prefer, you can meet us at the trailhead at 10:00 am in the Borrego Palm Canyon Campground at 200 Palm Canyon Drive, Borrego Springs. Parking is $10 per vehicle. (Drive to the end of the road through the campground to arrive at the trailhead.)
