Our next hike with be on Valentine’s Day so Saturday Feb 14. We will be hiking in the Del Mar Preserve area off of highway 56. There are some trails called the Tunnels which go through a tunnel of Scrub Oak Trees. This area does have some mountain bikers so we will need to be aware. It’ll be an easy to moderate hike. 

It should be around 1.5-2 hours over 3.5 miles and about 300 feet of elevation gain. The plan is to meet in a neighborhood near the trail at 8:30am. Here is the meeting spot where there is a gate to get over to the trail. https://maps.app.goo.gl/pZnxLtnXqxeCJftF7
